According to the “British-Yankee Vocabulary” guide in the back of my Rick Steve’s book, it says that the word “faggot” in Britain means “meatball.”
We had the orientation for the London internship program yesterday- there are 8 people going including me. Everyone seems pretty nice- 5 girls and 3 boys. My roommate of the last year or so, Kate, is coming as well, doing something with Conflict Analysis and Resolution- we’re supposed to be rooming together too.
